Rangers recall Jayson Megna from Hartford Wolf Pack

NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Rangers have recalled forward Jayson Megna from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League.

General manager Jeff Gorton announced the move on Monday.

Megna has skated in 34 games with the Wolf Pack, registering seven goals and 11 assists. He leads Hartford in shots on goal (110), ranks second in points, is tied for third in assists, and is tied for fourth in goals in 2015-16.

Megna was also recalled by the Rangers on Nov. 30. He has skated in 48 career NHL games over parts of two seasons, all with Pittsburgh, registering five goals and five assists.
