SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) — Justin Marks threw a no-hitter in the Durham Bulls' 2-0 victory over the Syracuse Chiefs on Saturday night in the International League.

Marks (3-9) struck out seven and walked two.

Marks signed with the Tampa Bay Rays — Durham's parent club — in January. The 28-year-old left-hander is from Owensboro, Kentucky, and pitched in college for Louisville. He appeared in one major league game for Kansas City in 2014.

Durham scored both runs on an error in the fifth inning.

Syracuse is an affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
