UNDATED (AP) — At least 20 college players are planning to skip bowl games this season and focus on preparations for the NFL draft. It is a growing trend in college football. The importance of non-playoff postseason changes from player to player and team to team. For many coaches, winning a bowl game has a specific value. Six coaches who have players sitting out their bowls this year also have nearly $400,000 in total bonuses at stake in those games.
EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Sabrina Ionescu set an NCAA record with her 13th triple-double and Ruthy Hebard had 20 points on 9-for-9 shooting to lead No. 7 Oregon past Air Force 82-36. Ionescu, who shared the career mark with BYU's Kyle Collinsworth, finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists for the Ducks (10-1). Haley Jones led the Falcons (4-7) with eight points and Riley Snyder had seven.
SEATTLE (AP) — Jordan Danberry had a career-high 20 points, Anriel Howard scored all 16 of her points in the first half and No. 4 Mississippi State jumped to a 21-point first-quarter lead and cruised to a 103-56 victory over Washington. Playing two days after falling at No. 7 Oregon, the Bulldogs (11-1) showed no hangover.
CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Destiny Slocum scored 21 points with five 3-pointers and No. 11 Oregon State used long-range marksmanship to beat Duke 71-57. Kat Tudor had 15 points with four 3-pointers and Mikayla Pivec added nine points, eight rebounds and six assists for the Beavers (9-2), who avenged a loss from last season.
TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Courtney Ekmark scored 17 points including a trio of fourth-quarter 3-pointers to help No. 17 Arizona State pull away from Fresno State 68-52 for the Sun Devils' seventh consecutive victory. Kianna Ibis added 15 points for the Sun Devils (9-2), whose only two losses came on a combined eight points to top-10 teams Baylor and Louisville.
