EVANSTON, Ill. (AP) — No. 4 Ohio State has bulldozed everyone in its path, putting up big numbers on offense and strangling opponents with its defense. Northwestern is struggling. The game Friday night between two teams that played in the Big Ten championship game last season sure looks like a mismatch on paper. And with a showdown against No. 6 Wisconsin next week, coach Ryan Day reminded the Buckeyes not to look past the Wildcats.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan held its men's basketball media day, another first for coach Juwan Howard as he prepares for his initial season at the helm. The former Fab Five star returned to his school after coach John Beilein left for the NBA this offseason. Howard has big shoes to fill after Beilein led Michigan to two Final Fours and returned the school to relevance both in the Big Ten and nationally.
EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — Michigan State receiver Cam Chambers has entered the transfer portal. Chambers had 19 catches for 264 yards during the 2018 season, but in 2019 he's played in only two games with no receptions.
