MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Grizzlies have signed guard Elliot Williams to a 10-day contract, bringing the Memphis native up from the NBA Development League's Santa Cruz Warriors.

Memphis announced the deal Friday.

The 6-foot-5, 183-pound Williams currently leads the D-League scoring 28.1 points per game this season and was the D-League's player of the month for November.

Williams, 26, has averaged 5.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in 104 games with Portland, Philadelphia, Utah and New Orleans in the NBA. A 2008 McDonald's All-American, Williams was the 22nd pick overall in 2010 by Portland out of the University of Memphis.

The Grizzlies also recalled forwards James Ennis and Jarell Martin from the team's D-League affiliate, the Iowa Energy.
