TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tre Burnette scored 12 of his 22 points in the second half to help South Dakota pull away and beat Oral Roberts 94-84 on Sunday night.

Burnette was 10 of 18 from the floor. Casey Kasperbauer had 20 points and matched career-highs with six assists and three steals for South Dakota (9-7, 1-1 Summit League). Shy McClelland chipped in 18 points and had a career-best six steals.

The Coyotes shot 52 percent from the field and forced 22 turnovers.

DaQuan Jeffries scored 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting to lead Oral Roberts (8-8, 0-2).

The Golden Eagles had their last lead, 44-42 at halftime. The Coyotes opened the second half on an 18-4 run and lead 60-48 with 15 minutes left. Burnette and McClelland scored six points apiece during the span, and South Dakota had a double-digit lead the rest of the way.
