Bucks extend series with road victory...Nets even things up with Hawks

CHICAGO (AP) — The Milwaukee Bucks cut Chicago's series lead to 3-2 by beating the Bulls 94-88 at United Center. Michael Carter-Williams had 22 points, eight rebounds and nine assists. The series now moves back to Milwaukee where the Bucks could tie it with a victory Thursday night.

NEW YORK (AP) — The Brooklyn Nets beat top-seeded Atlanta with a 120-115 overtime victory that squares that series 2-2. Deron (DEHR'-ihn) Williams rebounded from two dismal games with 35 points and Brook Lopez added 25 points and 10 rebounds.

CLEVELAND (AP) — The NBA has suspended Cavaliers guard J.R. Smith two games without pay and Celtics center Kelly Olynyk (OHL'-nihk) one game for their roles in separate incidents during a playoff game. Smith will miss Games 1 and 2 of the Cavs' next series, when the club will also be without Kevin Love, who dislocated his shoulder earlier in the game. Olynyk will set out the first game of next regular season.

MIAMI (AP) — Daniel Murphy hit a three-run homer with one out in the ninth inning, and the New York Mets snapped the Miami Marlins' five-game winning streak, 3-1. The Mets have the best record in baseball -- 15-5. They are 5-0 against Miami.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Monday night's Baltimore Orioles' home game against the Chicago White at Camden Yards was postponed because of safety concerns. Rioters have looted stores and thrown rocks and bricks at Baltimore police in the wake of the mysterious spinal injury of Freddie Gray, who died in police custody.
