Arizona Board of Regents approves contracts

PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Board of Regents approved contracts extensions Friday for Arizona State football coach Todd Graham, Arizona football coach Rich Rodriguez, basketball coach Sean Miller and athletic director Greg Byrne and Northern Arizona basketball coach Jack Murphy.

Graham got a one-year extension through 2019 that will raise his base salary to $2.7 million next season.

Rodriguez's two-year extension runs through 2019 and will raise his base salary to $1.9 million, Miller's one-year extension through 2019 will up his base salary to $1.6 million for the final year of the deal, and Byrne's one-year extension through 2019 will raise his base salary to $725,000 by the end of the deal.

Murphy's extension runs through the 2019 academic year. His base salary of $185,400 didn't change.
