COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - Paul Simon has been added to a concert that is part of the Baseball Hall of Fame's 75th anniversary celebration.

The Hall said Wednesday that the 12-time Grammy Award winner and longtime baseball fan will perform August 2 at Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown, N.Y. The Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra and former New York Yankees outfielder Bernie Williams also will perform.

Hall President Jeff Idelson says he "cannot think of a more fitting musician to pair with the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra."

Simon will perform three songs at the concert, which will celebrate baseball through music, film and video.
