Return of the Podcast!!

...and the "Price is right" for some Cougar hoops!

You may have noticed this by now, but my daily interviews from "Camp Cougar" are now once again available for download AND podcast!!

We are still tweaking the format, and may make a couple of cosmetic changes in coming days, but the mechanics are in place for you to get podcast versions of all the camp interviews recorded so far, and all the interviews I will post from now, until, well... forever, I guess.

The subscription interface to the right is rather self-explanatory, although I used the "right click the XML button-copy link location-paste into iTunes subscription window" method to get my podcast subscription. Either way, you should find this a handy way to get your interviews "to go," through the duration of Cougar camp.

In addition, we will keep the subscription alive during the football and basketball seasons, for any and all other longform interviews with BYU players and coaches that I choose to post on "Cougar Tracks." I plan to call this feature "Cougar Cuts," and it will replace the "Camp Cougar" podcast once camp concludes later this month. Stay tuned for the final word, but that's the plan.

Thanks to KSL's Internet Content Coordinators (not their official titles, but it sounds good) Steve Bergen, Glenn Swan and Graydon Johns for assisting with the podcast efforts and other techno-savvy developments we will incorporate into "Cougar Tracks."

And, of course, thanks to all of you for your suggestions and helpful encouragement as we worked our way through the process of transitioning from the "Cougar Daily Download" into the "Cougar Tracks" era. Hopefully you will all feel you are being "super-served" and that advances in technology are matching your appetite for Cougar football/basketball content.

Yes, Utah Jazz man Ronnie Price was back for more--making it two days in a row that he was hooping it up with present and former Cougars (and the son of one former Cougar coach). While the BYU guys held their own, you could kind of tell Price makes a lot of money playing in the NBA.

It was good to get re-acquainted with the Cougar hoopsters, and I think fans should be fairly excited for the season to come. You all know JT is seasoned after a summer playing with the pros, but Jackson Emery looks like he spent two years doing Pilates instead of mission service in Mexico. Abouo is big, athletic and a heck of a shooter, and Chris Miles was an active presence in the post. Enjoy the football talk, but don't forget that basketball season is only 3 months away!
