SALT LAKE CITY — Elijah Kletzli had a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds in leading Davis into the quarterfinals of the Class 5A Boys State Basketball Tournament with a 67-37 win over Herriman Tuesday at the Huntsman Center.

The Darts, who never trailed in the game, outscored Herriman, 46-12, in the paint thanks to a dominant performance by Kletzli.

Gonzaga-bound point guard Jesse Wade had 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting and was strong defensively with six steals for the Darts.

Davis advances to play the winner of Hunter and Copper Hills in Thursday’s 5A quarterfinals.
