Strawberry Reservoir

Fall fishing will be picking up in the next few weeks as the weather cools! Cutthroat will start cruising the shallows looking to feed. Cast cranks, tube jigs towards shore and hold on! Chub meat and minnows will also work. For rainbows use garlic Powerbait.

Yuba Reservoir

Persistent anglers are catching some northern pike using perch colored lures casting near shore. Use heavy 30-50 pound line with a steel leader or heavy mono leader. Also have on hand a large cradle net if you plan on releasing fish.
