NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — Shootings only minutes apart in North Las Vegas killed one man and critically injured another.
Police say 36-year-old Tyrone Ford of Las Vegas was pronounced dead at the scene after the first shooting Saturday afternoon.
A few minutes later, a 42-year-old North Las Vegas man was shot, then taken to University Medical Center in critical condition. His name wasn't immediately released.
Police say the suspect may have been in a vehicle, and the two victims knew each other. Investigators also say it does not appear to be a random act of violence.
The shootings are under investigation.
