Otter appoints 2 judges to district courts

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Boise attorney Jason D. Scott has been appointed a judge in Idaho's 4th District Court.

Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter made the appointment Friday.

The Idaho Statesman reports (http://bit.ly/1bW4sZO) that Scott is a Pocatello native who since 2007 has been a partner in the Boise law office of Hawley Troxell Ennis & Hawley.

Also on Friday, Otter appointed Nez Perce County Magistrate Jay P. Gaskill to the 2nd District Court.
