OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma state schools Superintendent Joy Hofmeister has completed the hiring of her staff for the Oklahoma State Department of Education.
Hofmeister announced Wednesday the hiring of Weatherford Public Schools Superintendent Matt Holder as chief operations officer and Oklahoma Quality Foundation director Heather Griswold as deputy chief of staff.
Holder will oversee all finance and federal programs at the department, including special education and purchasing.
Griswold will oversee all advisory groups.
Hofmeister previously named Cindy Koss the deputy state superintendent of academic affairs and planning; Robyn Miller the deputy superintendent for educator effectiveness and policy and retired Lt. Col. Lance Nelson as her chief of staff.
