LAS VEGAS (AP) — The man officials say killed three people at a Las Vegas apartment complex has died.
The Clark County coroner's office said Monday that 21-year-old Blake Widmar died March 5 from a gunshot wound to the head in an apparent suicide.
Police say he fatally shot three people on March 3 before turning the gun on himself. He was hospitalized and not expected to live.
Authorities say there was a domestic dispute before Widmar shot his 33-year-old wife Veronica Caldwell and her stepdaughter, 18-year-old Yvonne Rose Reyes.
The women were shot in the chest.
Widmar also shot 21-year-old Cory Childers in the neck. Childers was Reyes' boyfriend.
Police say the victims ran from the apartment in the 2200 block of South Fort Apache Road and were found on an outdoor walkway.
