MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — West Virginia University law school interim dean Greg Bowman has been appointed to the post permanently.
WVU Provost Joyce McConnell announced the appointment Thursday.
Bowman became interim dean last July after McConnell left the law school dean's job to become the university's chief academic officer.
Bowman is an expert in international trade law. He previously served as associate dean for academic affairs and has been a faculty member since 2009.
McConnell calls Bowman "an exceptional legal scholar, teacher and leader.
