Bicyclist suffers minor injuries after colliding with car

BOSTON (AP) — A bicyclist suffered minor injuries when his bicycle collided with a vehicle in the city's Dorchester neighborhood.

Massachusetts state police say the crash happened around 7 p.m. Friday at the corner of Columbia Road and Buttonwood Avenue.

The Boston Globe reports (http://bit.ly/29mjLjJ) the bicyclist was taken to Boston Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

State police say a preliminary investigation indicates the crash was the bicyclist's fault.

Police have not released the bicyclist's name.

No charges were filed against the driver of the vehicle.
