NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- Ryan Toolson came off the bench to score 17 points -- including three 3-pointers -- as Utah Valley State rolled to a 77-47 win over New Jersey Tech on Saturday.
David Heck added 15 points and Chris Bailey chipped in nine points and a game-high five assists for the Wolverines (21-7), who made their first 12 shots and went 72.7 percent from the field in the first half, building a 41-16 halftime lead.
Meanwhile, the Highlanders (5-21) had a tough start, making just 6-of-19 shots before the break. N.J. Tech then tried to rally in the second half, but had little luck controlling the potent Wolverines, who never trailed and held double-digit leads for most of the game.
Mike Manning led the Highlanders with 12 points, while Marc Milbourne Swan came off the bench to score 10 points and grab a game-high seven rebounds.
