SALT LAKE CITY - Utah will be without freshmen forwards Kim Tillie and Daniel Deane when its opens Mountain West Conference play at UNLV on Wednesday night.

Tillie fractured his left ankle in practice on Monday and is out indefinitely. Deane is in the process of dealing with an academic issue. His status for the rest of the season is still to be determined.

Tillie, from Cagnes-sur-Mer, France, has played in 11 games this season, averaging 2.1 points and 1.5 rebounds in 7.4 minutes per game. Deane has appeared in all 13 games with two starts. The Park City, Utah, native is averaging 2.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game.
