PROVO — Big Monday was on the verge of becoming Arizona's big blowout Monday night at the Marriott Center.

Then it was almost the Big Comeback.

In the end, Arizona was breathing a big sigh of rellief.

Brayden Burries poured in 29 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals; and Jaden Bradley scored 26 with three assists and two steals as No. 1 Arizona remained unbeaten with a 86-83 win over No. 13 BYU.

Koa Peat added 10 points, three rebounds and two assists for the Wildcats (21-0, 8-0 Big 12), who outrebounded BYU 39-37 and shot 57.9% after the break to silence a sellout crowd 48 hours after a rivalry win over Utah.

AJ Dybantsa had 24 points, four rebounds and five assists to lead the Cougars (17-3, 5-2 Big 12); and Richie Saunders added 18 points and eight rebounds.

Davis had 17 points on 5-of-8 3-point shooting, his most points since scoring 17 in a 109-81 win over Eastern Washington on Dec. 22.

Dybantsa scored back-to-back buckets on a jumper and a dunk five minutes into the second half.

Awaka scored 4 during a 9-0 run to stretch the lead to 64-45 midway through the half, but the Cougars got a spark from an unlikely place: the bench.

Specifically, Aleksej Kostic, who canned back-to-back triples for 6 points to go with 15 second-half points from Davis that cut the deficit from 19 to 11 with 5:16 to go.
