ST. GEORGE — A 22-year-old man reportedly died after falling from a balcony at the Campus Suites student housing complex at Utah Tech University early Sunday evening.

The incident was reported shortly before 5:45 p.m., when officers and emergency personnel were dispatched to a building in the complex. St. George Fire Chief Robert Stoker told St. George News in a text that the call originally came in as a possible fall, and the dispatch recording indicated the man had fallen from a balcony.

The man later died from his injuries, Stoker said.

The man's identity has not been released, and no additional details were immediately available at the time of publication.

Correction: An earlier version of the story incorrectly identified the man as 18 years old, not 22.
