WASHINGTON, Washington County — A Washington, Washington County, man accused of sexually assaulting an adolescent is being held without bail following his arrest over the weekend.

On Sunday evening, detectives were called in to investigate a report involving Orlin Noe Burgos-Rosales, 32, who was accused of sexually abusing an adolescent in Washington, as alleged in the police affidavit filed in support of the arrest.

Rosales was detained and transported to the Washington Police Department pending the results of the investigation.

Detectives requested that Rosales be held without bail, citing the substantial danger he poses to the community and a heightened risk of his fleeing to avoid prosecution. The request was approved.

The reported molestation came to light when the juvenile disclosed the abuse to a parent, which included four separate instances, investigators say.
