Pumpkin flavored treats, changing leaves, and crisp, cool air are all signs that fall is finally here. If your autumn bucket list also includes a visit to a local pumpkin patch or corn maze, then you're in luck. Utah Valley has a plethora of options where you can embrace the season while making some great memories!

As a bonus, you're keeping those dollars local and supporting Utah's own business owners. Here are seven of the best seasonal outings for families this fall that will make loading up all the kids into the car totally worth it.

Cornbelly's — Lehi and Spanish Fork

This beloved fall destination is one of the most popular spots in Utah. The main attraction at Cornbelly's is the famous corn maze, but there are countless unique activities (pumpkin blasters, anyone?) for families with kids of all ages.

Cornbelly's has two Utah Valley locations — Lehi and Spanish Fork — which each boast massive corn mazes. Fun fact: Cornbelly's set a Guinness World Record in 1999 for having the world's largest corn maze! This year's maze has a country music theme and will take about 30 minutes to complete.

But that's just the start of all the fall offerings at Cornbelly's. Visitors can ride the Jack-O-Spinners or a Candy Corn Copter, try their hand at fall carnival games, watch pig races, or visit the seriously spooky Insanity Point. For little ones, there are dozens of activities and a dedicated "Kidsville" area.

Cornbelly's Spanish Fork is already open for the Sunflower Festival, and the Lehi location is open now through November 2. There's so much to explore, you can even get a season pass and come back as many times as you want throughout the season.

Wilkerson Farm — Orem

Wilkerson Farm is more than a typical stop on your fall bucket list. The family farm started in 2010 as a small operation growing fruits and vegetables for food pantries. The fall fair, corn maze and pumpkin patch now help fund this humanitarian effort. This means when your family comes to enjoy all the festivities, you're also helping provide food for local food banks like Tabitha's Way.

The main attractions are a fall fair and corn maze, but visitors can also catch a ride on a Humvee or pony, visit the pumpkin patch, or check out the tractor expo. Visit Wilkerson Farm now through Nov. 2.

Jaker's — Springville

Jaker's Jack-O-Lanterns is the perfect spot to take your family on a pumpkin patch outing. Jaker's is located in Springville and operated by Harward Farms. Entry is $7 per person, meaning it's one of the most affordable options for fall fun in Utah County. Take a hayride around the farm, visit the petting zoo, or play in the corn fountain and corn pit. The giant tower covered in pumpkins is worth the visit alone for an Instagram-worthy photo op!

Hee Haw Farms — Pleasant Grove

From now until Nov. 2, head to Hee Haw Farms in Pleasant Grove for your dose of good old-fashioned farm fun. They have the classics like a pumpkin patch and hayrides, plus a petting farm that will thrill little animal lovers. Families will also love the corn pit, slides, and zipline. Pumpkins of all sizes and varieties are available to purchase, so you can deck out your porch in funky-colored gourds and Indian corn.

Hee Haw Farms recently added a year-round farm operation called Oliver's Place to the property, so visitors can stop in at the café and market for farm-fresh goods like raw milk, microgreens, fresh bread, and honey.

Glen Ray's — Spanish Fork

For the serious corn maze aficionados, Glen Ray's in Spanish Fork is the place to go. This family-owned business has been farming in the Spanish Fork area for 150 years, and they've translated that to an authentic and charming country experience for visitors.

By day, enjoy the kiddie corral, corn pit, cow train, and more. By night, the quaint family operation turns downright scary as the corn maze is transformed to "Field of Fright." The souls of the undead might meet you around every corner, so the faint of heart should beware!

Rowley's Red Barn — Santaquin

Located on the outskirts of Utah County in Santaquin, Rowley's Red Barn has grown fruit for generations. To this day, Rowley's is a working farm that produces apples, cherries, peaches, pumpkins, and alfalfa.

The fall festival runs Sept. 20 - Oct. 30, with the main attraction an immense pumpkin patch. Other activities include a corn maze, apple cannons, and ziplines. Bundle into a wagon for a cozy jaunt through the orchards. Don't miss the delicious apple cider donuts and fresh apple cider — freshly made autumn treats you can't get any other time of the year!

Gordo's Fun Farm — Spanish Fork

If you're on the hunt for that perfect pumpkin, visit Gordo's Fun Farm. This Utah staple in Spanish Fork has been lovingly family-owned since 1972. It's a smaller operation, so you can breathe easy with fewer crowds while still enjoying all the classic autumn activities. Kids will love the train rides, slides, and petting zoo, while parents can enjoy the charming setting and farm-fresh treats and produce. General admission tickets are $8.50, or you can get a punch pass and keep coming back all season long.
