SALT LAKE CITY — Major League Soccer announced a four-game suspension Monday for Real Salt Lake forward Chicho Arango for "violating the MLS anti-harassment policy."
No further details were given on the violation, but the suspension will begin with RSL's road matches at LAFC and the Colorado Rapids this week.
Arango will also miss the MLS All-Star Game on July 24 — which he was one of four finalists to be captain for — and RSL's Leagues Cup opener on Aug. 1 against Atlas at America First Field.
"The club has fully cooperated with Major League Soccer's investigation and accepts the disciplinary decision," RSL said in a statement.
Arango leads MLS in goals with 17 through 23 games and has started 21 games for RSL as the team's leader in total minutes played.
