This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

After graduating from the University of Alabama, Pam Woll went right into the advertising field, providing specialty imprinted promotional products.

She spent seventeen years in the profession, and after moving to Utah in 1998, Pam started working for an advertising company only to discover she'd been in the business longer than her employer. At that point Pam realized it was time to start her own business, and in December 1999, Pam put her business knowledge to work and launched Positive Promotions.

A Florida native, Pam didn't know many people in Utah so she had to work from the ground up and cold call to generate business. However, her persistence paid off as her clientele grew. She also changed her Park City-based company's name to Positive Incentives.

Positive Incentives aims to create ideas to help its clients promote their businesses and reach their target audiences. Pam has embroidery machines on site to create customized items such as jackets, shirts, hoodies and blankets. She also offers imprinted promotional items including leather briefcases, crystal awards, desk items and anything else companies might use to promote their brand or campaign. An increasingly popular portion of her business is items made from recycled material.

During the holiday season Pam says wearables are an especially requested item, but she also supplies a lot of USB drives and even digital photo frames. One of her recent projects was to etch logos on wine glasses and decanters for a resort in Bermuda.

Positive Incentives is distinguished by its attention to detail and exceptional customer service. Pam says her company excels at creating original, positive solutions for clients and making sure they receive the materials they need when they need them.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
