LEHI — A 17-year-old boy died after the motorcycle he was riding hit another vehicle Saturday afternoon, according to the Lehi Police Department.

The boy, identified as Zeke Gordon, died in the hospital, city officials announced Tuesday.

Police said in a news release that the teenager had been riding a home-built motorcycle east on a sidewalk in a housing development about 3:20 p.m. He then crossed 3830 West and hit a Ford F-150 that was traveling south.

The teenager was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to police. He was taken to Primary Children's Hospital.

"It does not look like he is expected to survive," police said Saturday.
