SALT LAKE CITY — Larry Miller was once one of the best softball pitchers in the nation, and it started with his young band of brothers.

"I'm sure he loved basketball, but let's face it, baseball was his first love — our first love — in terms of sports," Miller's teammate Michael Fairclough said.

Miller died 14 years ago, and his wife, Gail, wants to keep that love of life as she works to bring a Major League Baseball expansion team to Utah.

"Oh, I think he'd say go for it," Gail Miller said.

Find out what Larry Miller once said about his pitching aim, what his teammates said about his passion, and if his Utah field of dreams will one day become a reality.
