Supercars of every variety will be at Rice-Eccles Stadium Friday night, June 23 for the second annual Stadium of Supercars. You'll see more than 100 rare vehicles worth more than $30 million in total, including a Pagani, Bentleys, Lamborghinis, McLarens and Ferraris. Co-organizers Automotive Addiction and Era Auto promise it will be a jaw-dropping event.

Event details

The "celebration of speed, power and engineering excellence" is sponsored by Bentley Salt Lake City, Performance Underground, Salt Lake City Motorcars and KSL Cars. Together, they're planning an evening packed not only with cool supercars but also with amazing food, music and vendors.

Part of the festivities will include a meet and greet with more than a dozen players from the University of Utah's 2009 Sugar Bowl championship team. The Utes went undefeated that year, upsetting fourth-ranked Alabama 31-17 in the final game. You can get your picture taken and even toss the pigskin around the field with the players for a bit. There will be more activities and games for all ages, so bring the kids to this family-friendly event.

The show is open from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Rice-Eccles concourse. Buy your tickets online now. More than 5,000 people attended the inaugural show in 2022, and this year is shaping up to be even bigger.

Supercars in Utah

With the huge turnout to various shows like Exotics at The Gateway and Stadium of Supercars, it's evident Utah's supercar scene has exploded in recent years. Where you might have been lucky to see a Lamborghini or two on Utah streets just a decade ago, now there are hundreds. And the owners actually drive them! Tom Buckley, dealer principal for Lamborghini Salt Lake City, said it's a struggle to get enough cars to meet the demand. You can see what he means at the show.

About the organizers

Inspired by a love for cars and car culture, Iyar Koren and Bill Van Sickle founded Automotive Addiction as a storage solution for high-end vehicles. Car owners keep their vehicles in a climate-controlled, museum setting, and the public can take tours of the stunning collection. It didn't take long for word to spread of this convenient new option for storing rides. Now, more than 180 cars are housed at three Automotive Addiction museums.

It's not all supercars, either. There are also muscle cars, classics, custom builds, track cars and rare imports. The white Lamborghini Countach, BAC Mono and classic trucks were some of our favorites when we visited. At each of the locations — Provo Towne Centre, The Shops at South Town and Utah Motorsports Campus — the inventory is constantly changing, so you'll want to visit often.

If you have a vehicle you'd like to store, contact them here. With almost 200,000 square feet of pristine climate-controlled storage, there's likely plenty of room for your rare beauty. "Come join Automotive Addiction in our events, get involved in the car culture and see why there's nothing wrong with having an automotive addiction," Koren said.

Show co-organizer Era Auto knows luxury car care as well. "We offer a comprehensive range of services including mobile detailing and expert ceramic coatings to vinyl coverings and paint protection films. Whether it is a luxury exotic or daily driver, [we're] committed to delivering a showroom-ready finish," Era Auto said.
