SALT LAKE CITY — Jaren Hall has been dreaming of the NFL since he was a boy. And the former BYU quarterback will be waiting to hear his name called during next week's draft.

"It's a lot of excitement, and it's a lot of nerves," Hall said. "It's just a lot of unknowns, but that's just life."

It's a life that's about to change, thanks, in part, to his trainer, former BYU quarterback John Beck. After a stint playing basketball and baseball growing up, including some time playing baseball for BYU, the former Cougars quarterback has a chance to live out his dreams in the NFL.

"I've spoken to some teams, and I know that they are very aware of him, they like him, they would love to get him," Beck said.

In the latest Beyond The Game video series, Hall talks about how hard work, faith and family helped prepare him for the upcoming draft. Watch his story on how he got to where he is and what he plans to do on the night of the draft.

Check out more Beyond The Game videos, such as the one about former Utah Jazz Hall of Fame guard John Stockton, former Utah Jazz assistant coach Phil Johnson, or how a former BYU offensive lineman saved the life of University of Utah basketball star Kenny Gardner, among many more.
