SALT LAKE CITY — Jazz coach Will Hardy may be new to Utah; many of his assistants, though, are not.

The Utah Jazz finalized its coaching staff on Thursday, and it includes many of former coach Quin Snyder's assistants.

Oh, and one Jazz legend, too.

Jeff Hornacek, who played for the Jazz from 1994-2000, will be a "coaching consultant" for Hardy. Hornacek was a Jazz assistant from 2011-13 before taking head coaching jobs with the Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks.

Hornacek's No. 14 jersey hangs from the rafters of Vivint Arena after helping Utah reach two NBA Finals during his playing days.

When it comes to the rest of the coaching staff, there wasn't a lot of turnover following Snyder's departure.

Alex Jensen, Lamar Skeeter, Bryan Bailey and Irv Roland all return as assistant coaches after having similar roles under Snyder. Chris Jones and Sanjay Lumpkin have been promoted to player development coaches after having been on the Jazz's scouting and video team.

Jensen, as he was under Snyder, is the designated lead assistant, who will take over coaching duties if Hardy ever does get ejected or miss a game. It will be the Utah native's 10th season as a Utah Jazz assistant coach.

And there are some new coaches, as well.

Evan Bradds followed Hardy from Boston to be Utah's new player development expert; Jason Terry, who played 19 years in the NBA, joins Hardy's staff after being a head coach in the G League; Sean Sheldon, the former video coordinator for the San Antonio Spurs, will also be an assistant.

Elsewhere, Becca Ward will serve as director of team operations, and Anthony Beaumont will be the team's head video coordinator.
