SALT LAKE CITY — After Tuesday's play-in game results, the NBA got enough information to determine the rest of the schedule for the playoffs.

And apparently the NBA isn't too high on the Mavericks-Jazz series — at least not with Luka Doncic's status uncertain. The first-round series between Utah and Dallas will be heavily featured on NBATV.

After opening the playoffs with a Saturday matinee on ESPN, Utah and Dallas will play Game 2 on Monday on NBATV. The playoffs will return to Salt Lake City for Game 3 on Thursday, April 21, which will also be on NBATV.

With Doncic as one of the game's biggest international stars, it's hard to imagine him being pushed to the league's least-watched TV partner. Could this be a sign the league isn't too confident Doncic, who sprained his calf Sunday, will be ready for the early part of the series? Like most things surrounding Doncic's status right now, that's just guess work.

Game 4 of the series, which will be Saturday, April 23, in Utah, will be on TNT.

All first round games will also be broadcast locally by AT&T SportsNet
