The New York senator, who campaigned hard against Obama for the Democratic nomination, was rumored to be a contender for the job last week, but the talk died down as party activists questioned whether she was best-suited to be the nation's top diplomat. But today, CNN reported that Barack Obama has requested a meeting with Clinton. ABC Reporter Jake Tapper reports that despite the way they criticized each other's foreign policy during the campaign, she is now the frontrunner.
