LOGAN, Utah -Â Utah State men's basketball coach Stew Morrill announced Monday that Stavon Williams has been suspended indefinitely for conduct off the court.
Williams, a junior guard from Minneapolis, Minn., transferred to Utah State this fall after playing two seasons at San Jacinto Junior College in Houston, Texas. As a sophomore at San Jacinto JC, Williams averaged 15.4 points and 5.3 rebounds, and shot 49.4 percent from the field, 43.5 percent from three-point range and 72.2 percent from the free throw line.
Utah State will play its final exhibition game of the preseason on Saturday, Nov. 8 when it hosts Concordia University at 7 p.m., in the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
