OREM — Police responded to an officer-involved shooting on Friday evening near 800 North and 800 West.
An Orem police officer shot at an alleged hit-and-run driver at 800 N. 800 West after the driver left the scene of a crash.
The incident led to a chase that ended at 1600 North on I-15, Orem Police Lt. Nick Thomas said.
The driver later crashed and was taken into custody.
