SALT LAKE CITY — Sports is back for a weekend as the NFL opens up its draft for the 2020 season.
The three-day event was originally scheduled to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, but was shifted to a virtual draft. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will be announcing the picks from the basement of his home, with each team's general manager doing the same from their respective homes.
The draft begins Thursday at 6 p.m. MST and will be broadcast on various platforms, including ABC, ESPN and the NFL Network. Each team will have 10 minutes to select a player in Thursday's kickoff, which will feature only the first round.
The NFL will resume its draft Friday at 5 p.m. MST for the second and third rounds. It will also be broadcast on ABC, ESPN and the NFL Network. The last four rounds will resume Saturday at 10 a.m. MST.
