OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Court documents reveal new details on the body that was found in a northern Utah storage unit earlier this month.

The Standard-Examiner reports a recently unsealed search warrant shows the body of 41-year-old Alice Ann Valdez was found wrapped in "cloth, rope or twine, wire, plastic, and/or other materials."

Valdez's body was found inside a storage unit on Sept. 5 by two people hired to clean the shed at Stock-N-Lock Self Storage in Ogden, north of Salt Lake City.

According to the warrant Valdez's body was "partially mummified" when it was found.

Police are still investigating the circumstances of her death.

Lt. Tyler Ziegler has called the case "very suspicious."

Court records show Valdez had previously pleaded guilty to several drug and trespassing crimes in Utah.
