SALT LAKE CITY β€” Three fun new stories from the world of sports in today's From Left Field!

Wall-flipping catch

Since our last From Left Field, we've had what is probably going to end up as the MLB catch of the year. Cleveland's Austin Jackson flipped over the bullpen wall at Fenway Park Tuesday night to rob Hanley Ramirez of a home run.

Texas' new locker room

Texas football is a big moneymaker, and they certainly like showing it off. They just showed their players their new locker room, which features, among other things, lockers that cost $10,000 each, in part due to individual television screens.

WNBA in NBA Live

Now, fans can play with the WNBA teams and players in the latest edition of NBA Live.

It's a move that's paid dividends for EA Sports video games in the past. In an interview with ESPNW, NBA Live executive producer Sean O’Brien said that the USWNT was the 23rd most-played team (out of over 600 playable squads) in the FIFA video games. Perhaps the WNBA will see similar traction.
