Senator Orrin Hatch talked with Grant and Amanda this morning from Washington about the efficacy of the bailout and Senator McCain's decision to suspend the campaign. He said he believes that something needs to be done to protect his constituents' 401(K)s, to protect the nation's economy.

**The debate over the debate**
Will there be a presidential debate tomorrow night? That all depends on how much progress Congressional leaders make on the bailout package. Senator McCain suspended his campaign and has said he will not be at the debate in Mississippi. But what if the deal is all but signed - would he still stay away? Would the debate go on without him?
