NEW YORK (AP) — Strong company earnings and investor optimism over the Trump administration's promises of tax cuts, less government regulation and other policies are helping to fuel stock market gains. Wall Street capped a week of milestones Friday with a rally that pushed the major indexes to all-time highs for the second day in a row. The Dow rose 97 points to 20,269. The S&P 500 gained 8 points to 2,316 and the Nasdaq added 19 points to 5,734.

UNDATED (AP) — News that OPEC is largely adhering to a recent pact to cut crude oil production is helping to lift oil futures. Benchmark U.S. crude rose 86 cents, or 1.6 percent, to close at $53.86 a barrel in New York on Friday. The contract rose 66 cents on Thursday. Brent crude, the benchmark for international oil prices, gained $1.07, or 1.9 percent, to close at $56.70 a barrel in London.

DALLAS (AP) — The head of the pilots' union at American Airlines is blasting the carrier's CEO for skipping a meeting with President Donald Trump. Union President Dan Carey says Doug Parker missed a chance to talk to Trump about issues facing airline workers, including the threat from foreign competitors. Parker says he needed to attend an event for 1,600 employees in Dallas, where he stressed the importance of managers taking care of their workers.

LONDON (AP) — Apple's chief executive is calling for a "massive" campaign to raise awareness of untrustworthy news stories. Tim Cook tells London's Daily Telegraph that fake news is "killing minds," and governments and tech firms must act to stop it. He says firms have a duty to "create some tools that help diminish the volume of fake news" without curbing free speech.

PLYMOUTH, Wis. (AP) — Sargento Foods is recalling a specialty cheese because of possible listeria contamination. The recalled products are 6.84-ounce packages of Sargento Ultra Thin Sliced Longhorn Colby with sell-by dates of April 12 and May 10, 2017, and 8-ounce packages of Sargento Chef Blends Shredded Nacho & Taco Cheese with sell-by dates of June 14 and July 12, 2017. The products were distributed nationwide. No illnesses have been reported.
