LANDER, Wyo. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a man in connection with the shooting death of a woman at a home in Dubois.
The Riverton Ranger reports 53-year-old Lance Clark, of Dubois, was arrested Friday in the death of 49-year-old Laurie Margaret Thompson. He is charged with second-degree murder.
Investigators say Thompson was found in her home Sunday with a single gunshot wound to the head. A revolver suspected to have been used in her death was later found hidden in the home.
Clark has denied being at the home when Thompson was killed.
