ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Officials say at least 22 people are dead in a bomb attack targeting an outdoor wedding ceremony in southeastern Turkey. The governor's office for the province of Gaziantep says 94 others were wounded in Saturday's attack in the city of Gaziantep. Turkey's deputy prime minister says the "barbaric" attack appears to be a suicide bombing. Other officials say it could have been carried out by Kurdish rebels or the Islamic State group.

FREDERICKSBURGH, Va. (AP) — Donald Trump is calling on the Republican Party to boost its traditionally lagging efforts in winning over black voters. Speaking at a rally in the critical battleground state of Virginia today, Trump said that the "GOP has to do better" and wants to do better in its outreach to black voters. His comments follow a meeting he had earlier in the day with his new Hispanic advisory board, which is working to boost his outreach with that group.

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — More residents are returning home now that fire crews have made significant progress battling a Southern California wildfire that officials say has destroyed more than 100 homes. A fire spokesman says evacuation orders for Wrightwood went from mandatory to advisory this afternoon. The blaze in mountain areas east of Los Angeles is 68 percent contained. It has burned 58 square miles.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say an annual anti-violence event in New Jersey's largest city has been marred by two separate shootings that left two men dead and a woman seriously wounded. Prosecutors say the shootings in Newark occurred around the same time late Friday night. The shootings mark the second straight year that the annual "24 Hours of Peace" celebration has been marred by deadly shootings.

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (AP) —An investigation is under way into the fatal shooting of a man by a south Tennessee police officer. The Chattanooga Times Free Press reports it began at about 6 p.m. Friday when East Ridge police responded to a report of a man wielding a knife. The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says the suspect was located outside a home and that the man refused commands and approached the officer with a weapon, prompting the officer to fire.
