CLEVELAND (AP) — Donald Trump Jr. says his father's speech tomorrow night will be about "taking care of America." Trump Jr. says politicians overpromise and under-deliver and that his father is different. Trump Jr. was speaking in Cleveland at a breakfast hosted by the Wall Street Journal. Asked whether the candidate's delivery will be more in the style of a freewheeling rally or teleprompter policy speech, Trump Jr. says, "This is a time where there will be discipline."

CLEVELAND (AP) — Caitlyn Jenner says it was easier to come out as transgender than it was as a Republican. The transgender activist and Olympic gold medalist was speaking at a breakfast at the Republican National Convention to promote LGBT inclusion in the GOP. She says Democrats do a better job on the issue. Jenner received a smattering of applause from fellow Republicans for acknowledging Obama's move to eliminate the ban on transgender people serving openly in the military.

PARIS (AP) — A deeply divisive labor bill has been adopted by the French Parliament after the government used a special measure to force it through without a vote. The country's prime minister argued to the lower house of Parliament that the bill -- which makes layoffs easier and extends the work week -- is necessary to create jobs and make the economy more globally competitive. The bill led to months of violent clashes between police and leftist protesters who accuse the government of trampling on democracy and dismantling worker protections. Conservative critics say the bill doesn't go far enough.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The parents of a toddler killed by an alligator at Walt Disney World say they don't plan to sue the theme park resort over the death. Matt and Melissa Graves of Omaha, Nebraska, said in a statement today that they want to focus on their family's future health. A family spokeswoman says she can't say whether a financial settlement had been reached with Disney World. The president of Disney world says the company continues to provide support for the family. He did not elaborate.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Saudi Arabia's top clerics have renewed a religious edict that warns against playing Pokemon — this time as a mobile phone application called "Pokemon Go." The decree was first issued in 2001 when the game was played with cards. It says says Pokemon violates Islamic prohibitions against gambling, uses devious Masonic-like symbols and promotes "forbidden images."
