COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — College Station police say windows on at least 60 cars and trucks in some subdivisions and at an apartment complex have been shot out with BB guns.
Authorities say they began getting calls Tuesday night from owners of vehicles reporting the damage. The damage reports continued Wednesday.
No arrests have been made and no one's reported any description of who's responsible.
Police are asking residents in the targeted area who have video surveillance to see if their cameras may have detected the vandalism as it happened.
Authorities say while someone arrested is looking at a criminal mischief charge that carries minimal jail time and fines, the charge could be elevated to a felony and the consequences considerably more severe if the damages are added together collectively.
