OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting in an Ogden home.
The Standard-Examiner in Ogden reports (http://bit.ly/24E204E) that police say 29-year-old Miguel Angel Rios died Saturday from multiple gunshot wounds.
Officers responded to a home around 2:40 p.m. Friday and found Rios.
He was transported to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
Police say a SWAT team took two 18-year-old men into custody hours after the shooting at a nearby home.
Jeremy Moncada and Devin Smith were both booked on charges of possession of a firearm by a restricted person and obstruction of justice but Smith faces a felony criminal homicide count.
Investigators say both men have a documented history of gang activity and believed Rios was part of a rival gang.
