LANDOVER, Md. (AP) — Green Bay Packers left tackle David Bakhtiari is inactive for the team's wild-card playoff game against the Washington Redskins.

Bakhtiari, Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers' blind-side protector, missed the regular season's last two games with an injured ankle. Rodgers was sacked a total of 13 times in those games.

J.C. Tretter is expected to play in Bakhtiari's place Sunday.

Bakhtiari returned to practice on a limited basis on Thursday to test his ankle. In Green Bay's Week 17 loss to Minnesota, Josh Sitton replaced Bakhtiari at tackle but coach Mike McCarthy already had said Sitton would return to left guard, his usual position, against Washington.

Rookie running back Matt Jones, who has an injured left hip, is inactive for Washington. Center Kory Lichtensteiger, recently activated from injured reserve, returns to the Redskins' starting lineup.
