Omaha snaps North Dakota State's 31-game home win streak

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — Devin Patterson scored 32 points and Nebraska-Omaha snapped North Dakota State's 31-game home winning streak with a 91-82 victory Thursday night.

Patterson was 11 of 14 from the floor. Jake White had 17 points and Tre'Shawn Thurman added 16 for Nebraska-Omaha (11-6, 3-0 Summit League), which has won five straight.

Paul Miller scored 24 points with four 3-pointers to lead North Dakota State (11-5, 1-1).

The Mavericks took the lead for good four minutes into the game, and used an 18-2 run to take a 36-16 lead with five minutes left in the first half. Patterson scored eight points, and the Bison made just 1 of 10 shots during the 10-minute stretch.

Tra-Deon Hollins scored five-straight points and Nebraska-Omaha led 76-56 with 10 minutes left, and the Mavericks had a double-digit lead until North Dakota State's Carlin Dupree made back-to-back layups in the final minute.
