SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) — Zeek Woodley had 20 points and seven rebounds to help lead Northwestern State to a 92-69 win over Division III-member Centenary on Tuesday night.

Woodley, who hit 3 of 4 from long range, had 13 points by halftime. Ishmael Lane made 7 of 8 from the floor for 15 points and Malik Metoyer was perfect across the board making two from long range and hitting all five attempts from the floor and both free throw shots for 14 points. Sabri Thompson added 14 and Devonte Hall chipped in 10 for Northwestern State (3-7) which won consecutive games for the first time this year.

The Demons made 9 of 15 from beyond the arc and hit 59 percent from the field while limiting Centenary to 28-of-74 shooting.

Travion Kirkendoll had 23 points and eight rebounds for Centenary.

Northwestern State will host Houston Baptist on Saturday to open Southland Conference play.
