MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Avery Woodson scored 16 points with four 3-pointers, K.J. Lawson added 15 points, and Memphis ran away from IUPUI 84-48 on Tuesday night.

The Tigers (8-3) never trailed, made 20 of 26 free throws and got 51 points from their bench to the Jaguars' 17.

Ricky Tarrant Jr., Kendren Johnson and Lawson each hit 3s in Memphis' 15-2 opening run and the Tigers surged, outshooting IUPUI 42 to 22 percent and taking a 39-17 halftime lead paced by Lawson's 11 points. The Jaguars made 1 of 11 3-pointers in the first half.

Memphis pulled away in the second half on a 12-2 run and led by 39 points with 7:07 left.

The Tigers won the rebound battle 42-34 and scored 11 second-chance points off of 12 offensive rebounds.

Darrel Combs scored 15 points and Matt O'Leary added 12 for the Jaguars (4-10).
