CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Carson City authorities say six people have been arrested for allegedly selling drugs near an elementary school.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reports (http://on.rgj.com/1hyHiw0) that Sheriff Ken Furlong said Sunday officers conducted a drug bust involving heroin.
Furlong says the suspects are residents of a home across the street from Empire Elementary School in northeast Carson City.
Deputies and officers served a search warrant on the home late last week and found heroin and drug paraphernalia.
Officers then stopped a car leaving the house and found a gram of heroin and other drug-related items.
A woman and three men in the car were arrested.
Two have been released.
